Chief Executive Officer
Mr. Rashad Aliyev is Chief Executive Officer of Azmont Investments and Board of Directors Member of Azerbaijan Global Investments – AGI as well as Deputy Chairman of Nova Banka AD Podgorica.
Mr. Aliyev is highly motivated and engaged Senior Executive with rich working experience in Finance and Management. He has started his career as Auditor in Banks Supervision department at Central Bank of the Republic of Azerbaijan. He gained rich working experience within AtaHolding OJSC where he covered several positions from 2005 until 2017. While working across its financial sector, Mr. Aliyev has been covering senior position, being in charged for the Finance Department and Department of Finance and Accounting. Besides, Mr. Aliyev has been the Deputy CEO of AtaHolding OJSC since 2012-2017. He gained reach experience while overseeing all finance related processes for the holding and its subsidiaries and supervising all finance departments of the holding. As an experienced Senior Executive specialized in Investment Management and Finance, Mr. Aliyev continuously contributed and advanced as a Chairman of some committees of the banks.
Mr. Rashad Aliyev received the Bachelor degree in the Department of International Economic Relations in Azerbaijan State University of Economics in 2004 and the Master degree of the same Department in 2006. He also holds MBA Focused on Strategic Business Planning and Financial Modelling from London School of Business and Finance. He is fluent in English, Azerbaijani, Turkish, and Russian.
In 2015, Mr. Aliyev moved to Montenegro; as Chief Executive Officer of Azmont Investments, main developer of Portonovi Resort, he re-established positioning and strategy of shareholders for the investment portfolio.
He is also Board Member of all subsidiary companies of Azmont Investments, one of the biggest investors in Montenegro.
Chief Legal Officer
Mr. Farid Muradov is Chief Legal Officer of Azmont Investments.
Mr. Muradov specializes in Business and Investment Law, for which he obtained an LLM degree in International Business Law from the University of Liverpool, following the successful completion of Bachelor legal studies with the Dokuz Eylul University Turkey. He is fluent in English, Azerbaijani, Turkish, and Russian, with limited working proficiency in German
Mr. Muradov’s career path started in (Turkey) in 2007. He thereafter continued moving upward the legal profession taking various legal positions in international holdings of Azerbaijan, with the most recent engagement in Ekvita Law and Tax Services firm as Senior Legal Manager, right before moving to Montenegro.
Mr Muradov joined Azmont in April 2015, holding the position of the General Counsel.
Chief Finance Officer
Mr. Jeyhun Abdullayev is the Chief Finance Officer at Azmont Investments.
Mr. Abdullayev has started his career in 2004 at “UniBank” Commercial Bank as Senior Specialist in Project Financing Division. He spent 2006-2008 as a senior auditor with PricewaterhouseCoopers. He has served both local and international companies in insurance, oil-and-gas, construction and real estate, hotels and leisure industries, banks in Azerbaijan. He continued his audit experience in Baker Tilly Azerbaijan between 2008-2013 years as Audit Manager.
Mr. Abdullayev graduated with distinction from Finance and Credit Department of Azerbaijani State University of Economics in 2005. He participated in MBA program at Khazar University and graduated in 2010. He is fluent in English, Azerbaijani, Turkish and Russian.
During 2013-2017 Mr. Abdullayev worked for AtaHolding OJSC as the Group Chief Financial Officer. He participated in development of strategies for sustainable value creation. During his work experience within the Holding Companies he was supporting the governing body and senior management in making decisions and facilitating the understanding of performance of organizational functions and units.
Mr. Abdullayev is actively engaged in Montenegro. He joined Azmont Investments team in 2015 as Chief Finance Officer.
Chief Sales Officer
Mrs. Schahresad (Sherri) Motazed is the Chief Sales Officer at Portonovi Resort.
Mrs. Motazed has received a bachelor´s of Arts degree and Business Administration in Canada in addition to Real Estate Licence from the Real Estate Board of Canada. Mrs. Motazed is a sales & marketing executive with a hands–on approach. She is fluent in English, German and Persian.
Mrs. Motazed has started her career In Canada in 1989 by joining Royal Le Page commercial division as the real estate investment broker. She then moved to retail sector of real estate in 1993 with Pioneer Pacific Realty. From 1995 to 1999 she held a position as the senior leasing manager for western Canada and Retail Manager for Canada with Oxford Properties Group and Olympia & York.
Mrs. Motazed held the positions of Regional Director of Sale, Director of Sales & Marketing and Senior Director of Europe with Playground/Intrawest, the largest resort developer in North America from 2001 to 2009.
She then joined Arieum, the largest privately owned fund manager in London, England as the Executive VP Real Estate in 2010. In 2013 she joined Rockefeller Estate a division of Swiss Development Group as the Director General in Switzerland and from 2014 to 2018 as the Head of Real Estate for the Spanish based company in the Canary Islands, CIO.
Chief Marketing and Communications Officer
Ms. Gülru Berk is the Chief Marketing and Communications Officer at Portonovi Resort.
Ms. Berk has a broad brand experience and great understanding of branding and marketing throughout 21 years of executive career in communications. She worked for 14 years as part of HAVAS ISTANBUL, Turkish office of HAVAS WW - World’s 5th biggest global agency network. She was a founding partner of HAVAS ENGAGE ISTANBUL for 10 years and a Communication Director of EURO RSCG TURKEY & KLAN for more than 4 years. Besides this, she was also a Senior Art Director of WUNDERMAN / WCJ and an Art Director of Reklamcılık advertising agency.
Ms. Berk graduated from Istituto Europeo di Design in Milan, after which she continued her professional post-education by completing Wharton Executive Education - Leadership Excellence Program in Philadelphia and Portland Design - Retail Marketing Program in London. She is fluent in English and Italian.
During her career in working with multinational and local brands from many different sectors, Ms. Berk acquired vast experience in leading clients and agency teams to assure impactful and interactive customized communication in order to deliver best measurable business results focusing on brand equity management, creating growth and added business value for reputable brands.
Ms. Berk joined Portonovi project in March 2018.
