Elbay Mursalov

Mr. Elbay Mursalov is the IT Director of Azmont Investments.

Mr. Mursalov graduated from Informatics and Computing Technologies at Azerbaijan State Oil Academy with distinction in 2003 and obtained a master’s degree from the same department in 2005. He is fluent in English, Azerbaijani, Turkish, and Russian.

Mr. Mursalov started his career in 2002 as a senior IT specialist. From 2006 to 2009, he worked as an IT Manager for Subaru Azerbaijan and Mitsubishi Motors Azerbaijan. Mr. Mursalov was engaged in the company’s business process automation and was responsible for the implementation of ERP solutions for the automotive industry, which had to cover both the company's needs in the field of automation and meet the strategic plans for business development in the future.

Starting in 2009, he continued his experience in the financial sector of Azerbaijan with Muganbank OJSC. In 2010, Mr. Mursalov joined Bank VTB Azerbaijan OJSC, where he continued moving upward in the IT profession and taking various positions. He was also a member of several committees, with the most recent engagement as Head of the IT Infrastructure Division. During his work experience within Bank VTB Azerbaijan OJSC, he participated in the expansion process of the Bank's branch network and was responsible for both the development of the Bank's IT infrastructure and the introduction of modern technologies.

Mr. Mursalov joined the Azmont Investments team in 2018 as IT Director.
