Mr. Ahmet Erentok is an Honorable Chairman of the Azerbaijan Turkey Business Association, a Vice-Chairman of the Azerbaijan Turkey History Research Foundation, and Chairman of the Azerbaijan Turkey US Foundation.
He is the Chairman of the Supervisory Board of AtaHolding, Azerbaijan Global İnvestments, Azmont Investments, and the Chairman of ICOM Group USA, ICOM Capital Group, ICOM Advisors, and ICOM Solutions (Cleargistix).
He was born in 1962 in Ankara. Mr. Erentok received a Bachelor of Arts in International Relations with Economics from Buckingham University and a Master’s Degree in International Affairs and Global Justice M.A. from Brooklyn College at New York University.
Mr. Erentok started his career in 1984 and participated in the foundation of more than 60 Turkish and German companies and was a member and chairman at these companies untill 1992.
Since 1996, he has been working in Azerbaijan. He was involved in investment activity extension in Turkey, Azerbaijan, Caucasus, the Balkans, Russia, Central Asia, and the USA; established several companies providing consulting services during this period. He worked in a large number of governmental organizations, corporations, banks, and financial institutions located in different parts of the world with different institutional investors.
He has garnered a reputation of excellence among his professional peers for his demonstration of honesty and his ability to work hard and follow up with his customers. He received Entrepreneur of the Year Awards consecutively between 1985 and 1995, was selected as an honorary member of International Who’s Who in 1997, and was honored for his international integration of business in Consulting and Business Magazine. In addition, Mr. Erentok received an Achievement Award from UGUR in 2004, was named Businessman of the Year in Eurasia, and received a Special Award for Achievement and Support of Regional Social and Economic Development from the President of Azerbaijan in 2005. Named an honorary professor by the Modern University for the Humanities in Moscow, Mr. Erentok was also awarded a Lomonosov Medal by the Russian Federation’s National Committee of Social Prizes for the development of social and economic relations and cooperation between Russia & Azerbaijan & Turkey.
