36,000 EUR for scholars of Azmont Investments

(July 31, 2017) Second year in a row, Azmont Investments has awarded 5 students with scholarships. These scholarships cover complete tuition fee for three-years Bachelor degree academic studies at International Hospitality and Management Program of the Faculty of Culture and Tourism of the UDG Montenegro. Five awarded students were chosen among many who applied, due to their previous schooling results, quality of their motivation and recommendation letters, knowledge of English, as well as their performance on interviews.  The scholarships are given to four students from Boka Bay region, and fifth scholarship-holder comes from Podgorica. 

Azmont Investments sees this scholarships program as a long term investment in young people who tomorrow could be key figures in prominent Montenegrin and international resorts and hotels. ‘’We are glad that also this year our scholarship program triggered numerous positive reactions. Our scholars will attend program that provides them possibility to gain necessary knowledge, skills and experience, making them competitive in hospitality and tourism environment.’’, stated Adrijana Husic, Corporate Communications and CSR Manager of Azmont Investments. She has also added that‘’, Azmont Investments has invested additional 36,000 EUR for scholarships this year, on top of the 24,000 EUR given last year. We would like to see more companies from hospitality industry joining our efforts as this kind of the support is beneficial for the whole industry in a long run. It would be great to see other Montenegrin companies to follow this path in order to enhance skills and knowledge of more young eager to study and work in hospitality industry’’. 

The International Hospitality Studies have been established in 2016 as a joint effort of Azmont Investments, UDG Montenegro and Vatel, first Worldwide Business School Group in Hospitality and Tourism Management. The results and impressions of the first generation proved that this program is set on the best world standards and practices. To this, during the first year students have been already involved in the practice in eminent hospitality institutions in Montenegro and abroad. Studies are based on the modern approach and curriculum in educating, training and preparing students for working and developing their careers. Upon completion, Bachelor and/or Master academic studies, students will receive both national and EU diploma.

On top of the financial support of 250,000.00 EUR for buying franchise from VATEL that will serve to the International Hospitality Studies operations in next 11 years, company has committed itself to Azmont Investments Scholarship Program. This Scholarship Program is primarily designed to support students from Boka Bay region, with a special focus on Herceg Novi. However, this program is open for other candidates which meet program criteria, as well as for that ones who show great dedication and motivation to carry out professional career in hospitality and tourism. 

In two years so far, company has supported 9 students with 60,000 eur and thus contributing to preparation of the next generation to build their own future and to prepare them for a rewarding career in hospitality, tourism and hotel management.
