This is the first phase of an exciting partnership between Portonovi and Ars Medica, which implies the opening of a general medicine practice, special cardiology, internal medicine, surgery, and gynaecology practices, supported by a state-of-the-art laboratory, including a complete PCR diagnostics service.

Until 2022 the plan is to open a state-of-the-art medical centre in Portonovi, which would provide a broad range of medical services both to local community and guests of Portonovi, as well as to the population of wider region, emphasising medical specialties that are crucial for the development of medical tourism.
Medical centre would consist of departments of general medicine, dentistry, general and plastic surgery, cardiology, pulmonology, radiology, orthopaedics, endocrinology, haematology, full laboratory diagnostics, including a luxury hospital apartment complex for patient recovery.
