Azmont Bank operations have started
(June 15, 2016) Azmont Investments is proud to announce the official start of Azmont Bank operations.
As newly established bank in Montenegro, Azmont banka AD Podgorica is registered with €11.98m worth capital and is seated in Podgorica. As a commercial bank, Azmont banka will offer services to corporate and private clients. The Bank is fully owned by Azmont Investments. The main Bank Branch is in Podgorica, at Marka Miljanova 46 Street.

Mr. Kamran Mammadov, second executive director of Azmont banka has pointed that ‘’the vast expertise of Azerbaijan Global Investments (AGI), as the corporate parent behind Azmont, in financial sectors and potential growth opportunities in Montenegrin bank sector, are both important drivers and enablers in future positioning of Azmont banka as serious player in competitive market as Montenegrin is.
Azmont banka AD Podgorica is led by two executive directors.
Mr. Miodrag Radonjić, being appointed as Azmont banka Executive director is returning to banking sector after leaving the role of Director of Directorate for State Treasury which he has hold for almost 3 years. Previously, Mr. Radonjic has worked in a range of areas in the Bank sector including the most recent once -COO position in Hypo-Alpe-Adria a.d. Podgorica (March 2011-March 2013) and CFO position in Societe Generale Montenegro (March 2008-February 2011).
Mr. Kamran Mammadov is coming to the position of Azmont banka executive director from Branch Manager position in AtaBank, hi-tech universal bank and one of the largest commercial banks of Azerbaijan. Mr. Mammadov has been working in AtaBank since 2005, and before this as Senior (Head) Economist in Kapital Bank worked from 2002 until 2005.
