Azmont Investments intensify works in Portonovi Resort – Europe’s first One&Only foundations made

(April 22, 2016) In a today’s ceremony attended by the Prime Minister of Montenegro, other senior Government ministers and senior executives from Portonovi parent company Azmont Investments and One&Only Resorts, construction officially commenced on Europe’s first One&Only Resort.

The luxury resort will be an integral part of Portonovi – a new 60-acre luxury lifestyle development being built on the picturesque shores of the Boka Bay. The first phase of the development is due to be completed in 2017 with One&Only Portonovi planned for opening in 2018.

Prime Minister Mr. Milo Djukanovic expressed his satisfaction for the Investor obligations from the Lease Agreement. ‘’Today we proudly begin new phase of the Portonovi that is to be of our pride – the Montenegro as today is and its citizens and investor. Through realization of the projects like this, we ensure 3 goals to be reached: employment on quality working places, additional impetus to dynamic economic growth of Montenegro and by all this Montenegro gets better offer and becomes of one of the most prestigious destinations in Europe’’. Mr. Djukanovic has specially emphasized cooperation between Montenegro and Azerbaijan – ‘’exceptional understanding, friendship and frequent political dialog that enabled us to more easily enter in this big and demanding investment as Portonovi is.  Now we come to the point to give additional impulse to further improvement of our relations and all through responsible execution of this Project phase and soon completion of the Portonovi project.’’, concluded Mr. Djukanovic.
