Azmont Investments introduces Nova Banka AD Podgorica

(December 16, 2016) As newly established bank in Montenegro, Nova Banka AD Podgorica is registered with €11.98m worth capital and is seated in Podgorica as of 2016.

As a commercial bank, Nova Banka will offer services to corporate and private clients. Furthermore, from the investors perspective this investment will provide new growth opportunities and connections with the companies as the ones established in Montenegro, as well as the ones established abroad which operate here on this market.

The governor of the Central Bank of Montenegro Mr. Zugic said at the ceremony that Nova Banka AD Podgorica “is healthy competition that will affect the reduction of all the weaknesses of the entire banking system in Montenegro. It is the reason why the full support is given to this bank and all the other banks with good financial practice, because this sector is, among other things, necessary for development of micro/small and medium business which employ over 90% of our population.”
