Portonovi Carnival – Night full of tradition with a hint of modern vibe

The streets and squares of Portonovi will truly come alive during the magnificent night under the masks, with a vast array of displays and events that provide a visual feast for all senses. Local Music Đenovići will open the Portonovi Carnival in a parade with „Feštađuni“, organization known for embracing the tradition of Carnival and carnival events for more than 15 years. For those who come unprepared, masks will be shared on three locations throughout resort.

Various groups of „Feštađuni” will entertain visitors from the resort and guests in the cafes and restaurants, and at 11pm they will have their finishing parade. Additionally, in cafes Perla, Koffein and Maison du Monde, live music will be performed, to complete this exciting night of festivities.

“Masked carnivals are important part of tradition of this region for centuries, so we are organizing one more day to remember, with a hint of modern vibe. We can’t help but joke that for the first time in a while masks will have positive connotation and we hope that all visitors will have great time.
