Sounds of the Mediterranean – a festival of music and dance in Portonovi village
Portonovi continues to embrace and promote the local culture and heritage through the Sounds of the Mediterranean concert that will take place Saturday June 26th.
Starting from 19:00 guests and residents will enjoy 2 klapa ensembles, performing at least a century old tradition but still very much a part of modern life in Boka. The sounds of voices blended to create a beautiful performance will take every guest through stories of love and life along the coast.
A travel through history on waves of music that will be followed by a dance performance by 70 members of the Cultural and Sports Center DiANo with 20 dance performances each with their own music, costumes, as well as audio and visual designs which make this an event not to be missed. The performance includes many dancing styles from classical ballet through to contemporary dance, show dance, ethnic games and musicals.
