Applications for Azmont Scholarship Program until May 19

(May 5, 2017) Due to high interest shown this year, applications for Azmont Scholarship Program have been extended to 19th May 2017. Second year in a row, through the Azmont Scholarship Program, Azmont Investments will award up to 5 scholarships covering 100% of tuition fee for three-years of Bachelor degree academic studies within International Hospitality and Management of the Faculty of Culture and Tourism of the UDG Montenegro. These International Hospitality Studies at UDG are done according to Vatel international hotel and management franchise which as such was awarded the Best Hotel School in 2016.

“Establishment of the International Hospitality and Management of the Faculty of Culture and Tourism of the University of Donja Gorica is beneficial to the whole tourism industry as it provides a long term investment into education and supports development of human resources. Furthermore, this prestigious program seeks to assist educational and hospitality development in Montenegro, by preparing the next generation to build their own future within the international tourism and hospitality industry” said Ms. Adrijana Husic, Corporate Communications and Corporate Social Responsibility Manager.

The company’s intention is to support primarily students from Boka Bay area, with a focus on Herceg Novi. Still, the Scholarship Program is open for students from whole Montenegro. One of the most important differentiators when talking about these studies is practical work done beside lectures and exams. Throughout the studies, students learn how to implement acquired theoretical knowledge into practice. Beside the practice that is done in well-known hospitality institutions in Montenegro,  around 30 of our students will do their practice in the USA, Spain, Estonia and Greece, where they will gain additional practical knowledge and skills needed in high-end hospitality industry.

Established partnership between Azmont Investments, UDG and Vatel in 2016, has brought Vatel international training based on balance between theory and practice to Montenegro. This Montenegrin and European double-degree program will benefit to students who intent to work in the hospitality industry. Vatel and UDG aim to train future operational and executive managers up to the international hospitality standards that can be implemented not only in the Montenegrin but also in the international hospitality industry. Upon completion of the academic studies, Bachelor and/or Master’s program, scholars will receive a national and EU diploma from this International school.
