Government Officials visited Portonovi Site

(October 8, 2015) Working hand in hand is crucial enabler for making shared success and bring Portonovi to life in season 2017, concluded during the Government officials’ visit of Portonovi Site where first four residential buildings are already being built. The first One&Only Hotel in Europe is to be opened in season 2018, and the field work has been started.

Mr. Ahmet Erentok, Chairman of the Board in Azmont Investments together with Company executives hosted Government Officials on Portonovi Site on October 7, 2015. The visit has been organized aiming to present so far achieved results, progress of the development and future steps of the world-class destination that will significantly contribute to Montenegro as a country. Portonovi is more than pure investment and development, as said during the visit. Being on the site, respective guests have had a chance to experience small part of what is believed to be a lifestyle experience and the essence of growing resort in Herceg Novi.

Minister of Finance, Mr. Radoje Zugic, Minister of Sustainable Development and Tourism, Mr. Branimir Gvozdenovic, Minister of Transportation, Mr. Ivan Brajovic, Minister of Health, Mr. Budimir Segrt, as well as Mayor of Herceg Novi, Ms. Natasa Jacimovic expressed satisfaction for the visible progress on the site and plans presented through the meeting. Active participation of the high officials and guests from the respective ministries and Employment Agency, as well as Mr. Seyran Mirzazadeh, Head of Azerbaijan Mission in Montenegro, proved dedication and mutual respect in working to promote Montenegro as a high-end destination.

Government Officials have been introduced with the fact that investment so far is more than double planned. Namely, Lease Agreement Commitments impose EUR 52,000,000 investment within 4 years and EUR 258,000,000 invested within 8 years. Since entering the market in 2013 until September 2015, total investment reached EUR 127,000,000.
